Christopher Hunt at Midwest Media was awesome enough to film and edit these great videos to help promote my show at 1614. The first video focusses on the show itself and the second video is b-roll that is more focussed on the process of building up DNA Galleries and the arts community in Oklahoma City.

I’m happy to announce that I will have new works at a solo show in Oklahoma City on Friday September 9th at 1614.

Almost all the new works are on paper and will attempt to explore new concepts and styles with a variety of character studies on paper and wood. An underlying theme is focuses on the spirit and energy realms in life.

I recently got the privilege of doing a massive bear king character at Tree & Leaf Clothing’s new space. It is a 17 x 40 foot piece overall with 4 artists work. Dusty Gilpin, Tanner Frady, Tanke and myself. You can go check out a little blog post if you want just click here.

Sometimes it is very difficult to break from a pattern in art. For 2011 I am going to try some new techniques and try to break out of my comfort zone for creating. We will see how it goes, and I’ll try to keep you updated.

Just got done with a book cover layout for Lauren Zuniga. She recently created a book of poems entitled Left Plains: Poems For The Oklahomies. Email her or look for it at DNA Galleries soon.

I have 3 new works that were a part of a group show at Mainsite in Norman. Detailed images of the pieces will be available soon.

Completed these little custom iPod speaker guys and sent them off to be sold in Europe.

Get ready to roll deep out to The Arbor Saturday May 8th from 7-Midnight!

This is going to be an awesome show. We have a great crew with some fresh work. On the art side there will be live graffiti murals, some street art installations and artwork by some talented young creative minds including yours truly.

On the random fun side there will be a live DJ, Big Truck Tacos will be out serving food and there will be a few local clothing lines representing with t-shirts and accessories including GROUP FLY, Tree & Leaf Clothing (of course), DNA Galleries will have a few shirts and Jason Pawley will do the same with his Approach Creative line.
